Best Way To Advertise My Business

Marketing verses Advertising

Online Marketing

Online Advertising

Marketing and advertising are closely linked topics, but each has distinct meanings and functions. As a progressive content writer who blogs and develops websites to attract leads, sell products, and services, I’ve become an expert in online marketing and advertising. The more I wrote and created, the more work I had to market and advertise. If I had not practiced marketing techniques and learn how to set up ads to promote, I would have never evolved into an experienced marketer and advertiser. After reviewing my statistics, I noticed that my marketing and advertising efforts were yielding results.

Half the battle of creating something from nothing is producing something from nothing. The other half is figuring out how to get people to find your blog, website, or affiliate links to earn money. Learning SEO (Search Engine Optimization) practices and utilizing AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools are two cost-effective ways to promote your online presence. Taking the time to master SEO techniques that organically attract visitors and utilizing AI software tools to automatically post daily can help direct viewers and customers your way. The goal is to produce something that offers value and that generates income. Create it, promote it, and earn from it.

Marketing and advertising are closely linked topics, but each has distinct meanings and functions. Over time, I began to question my way of thinking. I learned that there is a big difference between marketing and advertising. Learning the differences improved my chances of succeeding financially.

Marketing is the strategic process of identifying customer needs and creating a plan to meet them. It includes:

  • Market research: Understanding who your audience is and what they want. Hashtagging keywords target a specific audience.
  • Product development: Designing products or services to fit customer needs. Visitors browse your blogs and websites.
  • Branding: Crafting a company’s identity—logos, messaging, tone of voice.
  • Pricing & distribution: Deciding how much to charge and where to sell. It does matter. However, I lead generate to earn money. I direct potential customers to a company’s products or services.
  • Promotions: Which can include advertising, PR, events, and social media. I promote mainly online.

Thinking behind the scenes like a strategist helps me advertise.

Advertising is a component of marketing that focuses on promotion and visibility. It involves:

  • Creating and placing ads across various media channels, including TV, radio, digital, print, and social media. In time, I plan on using CTV (Connected TV ads). Display ads on internet-connected televisions, often during streaming content on platforms such as smart TVs, streaming devices (Roku, Fire Stick), or gaming consoles.
  • Crafting messages to persuade and inform customers. I generate income by leading potential customers to a company’s products or services.
  • Driving awareness and demand for specific products or services.

Advertising is like a megaphone for a business, amplifying its voice to attract attention.

My hobby became a way to supplement my income. Blogging led me to develop skills that enabled me to become experienced in online marketing and advertising. Producing something of my own to market and advertise shows a company or business owner what I can do and what I can offer. I’m an Internet entrepreneur who set up streams of income to supplement my income, but I am open to working with or for someone. I’m in a good position to seek employment, which is why I refreshed and updated my LinkedIn profile. I want to utilize the skills I’ve developed instead of those I’ve outgrown. I used to work as a server in restaurants and worked in food stores to earn money. In 2017, I decided to leave the security of earning a modest paycheck and used gig apps to pay bills while I reinvented myself. I feel challenged every time I write, create, market, and advertise. It thrills me. Approximately 99% of the population requires an income to live, so why not earn an income doing something you enjoy?

This post took a turn, reiterating my journey to who I am today. It shows how one positive action can lead to another, and another, and another. I’m in a position where I never limit myself financially. Following my passions keeps me up-to-date with the latest technology, which is relevant to the job market.

If interested, visit my LinkedIn profile. If I can do it, so can you. Be temporarily uncomfortable to live more comfortably.
